Below, we suggest itineraries to suit your personal tastes. You're free to create your own, or just take inspiration from them.
HALF-DAY ITINERARIES

The Col de la Forclaz
Climb to the Col de la Forclaz to the paragliding start point for a high, unobstructed view of Lake Annecy.
From our base in Talloires, climb the Côte de Talloires, then turn right towards the Col de la Forclaz. Once you've reached the summit, you can return down via Doussard to complete a loop.
Le Semnoz
Reach the west bank to begin your ascent.
You can reach the summit by road or trail, depending on your mood.

The Massif des Bauges
From our rental base, follow the cycle path towards Ugine, passing through Faverges. Then head for Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny, where you can stop off at Albertville or Château de Miolans. Return to Annecy via Leschaux, then choose to climb the Semnoz before heading back down to Annecy, or continue towards Sévrier to avoid a final climb.

The Aravis Pass
Join the Thônes road heading north to begin the Tournette tour. Once you've reached Les Clefs, head for the Col des Aravis via Manigod. Once over the pass, descend via La Giettaz and Flumet to join the cycle path at Ugine, via Doussard to our base at Talloires.

Tour de la Tournette
La Tournette is the mountain that dominates the Annécien basin. You can complete the tour by starting at the Col de Bluffy. Then follow the signs for Thônes and Faverges. Finally, you have two options:
- Cycle to Talloires
- Start climbing the Col de la Forclaz before descending to Talloires

Lake Annecy + Lac du Bourget
Tour the most popular lakes in Savoie and Haute-Savoie. We recommend you take the tours in a clockwise direction. You'll pass through the iconic towns of Annecy and Aix-Les-Bains.
TWO-DAY ITINERARIES

Les Lacs des Savoies
Follow the roads through Lac d'Annecy, Lac du Bourget and Lac d'Aiguebelette. Start touring Lac d'Annecy clockwise, then head for Lac du Bourget in the direction of Aix-Les-Bains. Continue south towards Saint-Sulpice, then reach Lac d'Aiguebelette via Lepin-du-Lac.
Start your second day by completing the tour of Lac d'Aiguebelette and beginning the ascent of the Belvédère du Mont du Chat with its panoramic views. Descend to Le Bourget-du-Lac, then head north to Annecy to complete the tour of Lac du Bourget. You'll be able to stop off at Hautecombe Abbey and other secret spots along the way.

Chamonix-Mont-Blanc
Head for Chamonix via the Col des Aravis. Stop off in Thônes, La Clusaz or Megève on your way; then spend the evening in Chamonix at the foot of Mont-Blanc.
The next day, you're free to return by the same route or take a more varied route to Sallanches or Cluses. Once you've reached Cluses, you have two further options for getting to Saint-Jean-de-Sixt: the Col de La Colombière or the Bonneville route around the Bargy range.
Finally, back to NOMAD BIKE in Talloires.

Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval
Start your journey towards the Col de la Colombière and descend to Cluses. From there, head for Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval. Once in the valley, you'll be able to bivouac for a unique night.
In the early morning, stroll along the massif's trails and reach Saint-Jean-de-Sixt by the same route or via Bonneville before returning to Talloires.

Cormet de Roselend
Start your journey on the cycle path to Ugine via Faverges. Then head for Beaufort and continue to Lac de Roselend. From here, begin the ascent to the Col de Cormet de Roseland. Spend the night in Beaufort and make an early morning stopover at Lac de Saint-Guérin before heading back to Talloires.
WEEKLY ITINERARIES
Les Deux Alpes and Alpe d'Huez
Start your journey towards Les Deux Alpes via Albertville and Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. Once you've climbed Les Deux Alpes, take refuge in the resort for the night. In the morning, head down Les Deux Alpes towards Alpe d'Huez and its famous 21 bends, with a vertical drop of 1,120 meters over 14km. Take a well-deserved rest after the effort. Then finish your outing by returning to Annecy/Talloires via Grenoble.
